David has a vast range of experience in property having worked for local and multi-national contractors and developers, along with specialised project management and land development consultancies. At WINARCH CAPITAL David brings these experiences together in the Development Director role, where he oversees the full life cycle of a development from feasibility and acquisition through to construction and divestment. As a Project Manager David has worked with many sub consultants and has gained a broad knowledge of many specialty disciplines. These include environmental, bushfire, geotechnical, landscape, town planning, surveying and many more. This knowledge, coupled with his practical construction experience, enables the successful management and coordination of developments, as well as ensures that his projects receive the benefit of a well-managed team of sub consultants. David’s involvement as Senior Engineer and Project Manager on large residential developments allows him to quickly identify and quantify the risks to a development, and he has the experience to make informed recommendations to mitigate these risks. His knowledge of design constraints, options and construction costs is invaluable in the planning of developments of all sizes.

To date his career highlight has been the development and construction of Barangaroo Reserve in Sydney, where unique and innovative engineering and landscape solutions were required to deliver a world-famous landscape architect’s vision for the iconic site, which has gone on to win numerous national and international awards since completion in 2015. David has a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil with University Medal) degree from the University of Newcastle, along with PRINCE2 Practitioner certification. With a focus on the use of collaboration, innovation & creativity within the context of appropriate project controls, David ensures the vision and value of each development is delivered for WINARCH CAPITAL.
